We strongly recommend that your puppy have their own crate. The wire crates are great because they allow a lot of air flow and your new companion can see everything that is going on around them. Make sure your puppy has plenty of room to get around and play. The crate is wonderful for allowing your puppy to have their own space – a comfort zone, so to speak. It need to include toys and something soft to lay on. It will also protect your puppy from harm until they learn a little more about their new environment. It is a great place for your puppy to sleep until you are certain that they are potty trained. A new companion needs to be a good experience for everyone and accidents in your home are not pleasant.
